Climate Walk – Touring Our Sustainable Campus
Location - Buchanan (BUCH) - A102
This workshop is a short campus tour exploring how UBC is incorporating sustainability in campus infrastructure in response to the changing climate. The walk will orient participants to the UBC Campus by focusing on key landmarks, popular learning spaces, and student hubs.
Financial Planning 101 – Tuition, Awards and Finances with the Enrolment Services Advisors

Stop stressing about money by learning how your ESA can help you manage your finances. Find out how to handle your tuition payments and receive UBC awards, student loans, bursaries, and grants. Learn how to save money while at UBC. Figure out your finances before the semester starts and your classes take over. The topic may seem dry, but this stuff is important! See you there!
Stay on Track – Navigating Academic Integrity in the GenAI Era

The Art of Intention

Join the UBC Arts & Culture team in creating a collage to decorate your new room – whether it is a vision board for the new year, a surrealist landscape for decor or a creative portrait, we invite you to connect with other first year creatives, have a chat, and explore all the opportunities to be creative during your time at UBC! UBC Farm – Connect to the Land, Connect to Community
Location - Sessions held at both Wesbrook Building (WESB) - 100 and UBC Farm
Learn all about the UBC Farm and the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems. In addition, learn about the myriad of ways to get involved at the Farm. We welcome student interest from all disciplines, backgrounds, and levels of experience. Sessions are available both in a campus classroom AND at the UBC Farm. The Farm is located in the Wesbrook Village on UBC's South Campus.
Navigating Healthcare and Wellness in Canada as an International Student

Healthcare systems work very differently in different countries. In this workshop, you will learn about Canada's healthcare system and how to access care when you need it. You'll be introduced to the health and wellness resources on campus and how to make the best use of your health insurance. You should leave this session feeling empowered to manage your health and wellbeing in Canada as an international student.
How to Find Work & Research Opportunities at UBC
