Welcome to UBC!!!I am excited to be your Faculty Fellow in the Jump Start program.I am a Brazilian multilingual scholar who has navigated international contexts both studying and teaching at Southern and North American universities. As a lecturer at the UBC School of Journalism, Writing, and Media teaching first year courses, I focus on creating a safe space in my classroom and fostering a community of practice in which diversity is highly valued. I am passionate about guiding students in their first experiences in the university world.
