Emma Davy is trained as a synthetic chemist having completed her BSc and PhD at the University of Victoria and her research post doctoral fellowship at the University of Ottawa. After that, Emma did a teaching post doctoral fellowship at Quest University before becoming a faculty member in 2018. After three years at Quest, Emma came to UBC where she works in the Department of Chemistry and the Skylight Centre for Learning and Teaching as a Science Education Specialist. Emma has much teaching experience in general, organic, and inorganic chemistry as well as communication in the chemical sciences and chemistry physics for non majors. She brings her passion for interdisciplinary and relevant examples and a true love of all things molecules to her classroom and students.
