Amir M. Dehkhoda (he, him, his) is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Materials Engineering at UBC. Amir holds MASc and PhD degrees from Chemical & Biological Engineering Department at UBC, with more than 10 years of combined research, industry, and teaching experience. Prior to joining UBC, Amir worked as a full time faculty member at BCIT in Chemical & Environmental technology program. Amir has experience working in clean tech startup companies as a research engineer mainly in the area of electrochemical energy storage, renewable energy production from CO2, sustainable development and circular economy. His research has been published in peer reviewed journals with 1000+ citations.
