Note: Some events have limited capacity and all events require you to RSVP using the registration links provided. Registration for each event will open at 12:00pm the day before the social.

Drop-in – Badminton

This session is only available for students enrolled in the 2026 session of Jump Start. A valid student card is required for participation.
Registration: Entry is based on the current capacity of the gymnasium. When capacity is reached, participants will be added to a wait list. A staff member must allow you entry to the gymnasium, participants will be called out from the top of the waitlist and you must be present when your name is called to gain entry.
Match Format: Basketball games are allowed, however participants must be respectful to those wishing to practice shooting and/or associated basketball drills, and leave adequate space for all participants to practice accordingly. Individual practice/play takes priority over basketball games being played.
Policies: Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing, and participants must bring their own equipment, or provide a UBC ID or Government Issue Photo ID at the facilities' Front Desk to exchange for a basketball. Basketballs must be returned prior to the end of the registered session, and any damage or loss of equipment will result in a fee.
